Warranty

Alternators may be returned to Ecoair Corp. for the following reasons: (a) Ecoair’s order entry error and (b) defective Alternator. Ecoair warrants to Customer for a period of eighteen (18) months from the date of shipment by Ecoair to customer that the Alternator(s) sold to Customer pursuant to this Agreement will be delivered free from defects in material and workmanship if:

a) Customer notifies Ecoair of any warranty claim within one (1) month of discovery of defect and includes a report to Ecoair describing the defect with the returned Alternators;

b) Within one (1) month of discovery of defect, the Alternators must be returned to Ecoair, freight prepaid, after Customer has received a return authorization number from Ecoair; and

c) Ecoair’s examination of such items shall disclose to its reasonable satisfaction that the claimed defect in the Alternators was not caused by misuse, static discharge, abuse, neglect, improper handling or installation, unauthorized repair, alteration or accident.

d) For warranty claims approved by Ecoair, return freight to customer will be paid by Ecoair.

Modification or repair by Customer or any third party of the Alternator’s repair, unless specifically authorized by Ecoair, shall invalidate the above warranty. All non-warranty (non-defective) related returns will be returned to Customer after receipt by Ecoair of a $95.00 service fee plus freight.

Ecoair’s sole and exclusive liability under this warranty is limited to, at Ecoair’s election, repair, replace or issue credit in the amount of the purchase price for any such claim. The extent of liability for the Alternator Ecoair supplies is not to exceed the costs required to repair or replace any failed component. Any replacement shall not extend the warranty period. Except as provided herein, Ecoair makes no warranties of any kind whatsoever, express or implied, and all implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement of any intellectual property rights of third parties are hereby expressly disclaimed by Ecoair.
